This month (September), at least five benefits will be made available to millions of Brazilian men and women. Apart from the common INSS and FGTS transfers, in addition to Auxílio Brasil and two other temporary benefits that are in progress. Below are some details about these benefits.

INSS

Every month, the INSS pays retirement benefits, pensions and other rights and benefits. This September, more than 35 million Brazilians will have access to these services. Deposits are made in order. The first to receive are people who receive a minimum wage in the benefit program. Afterwards, for people who earn values higher than the national minimum.

The INSS follows a calendar for making payments according to the order of the last digit of the participant's benefit number, yet the digit after the dash is not considered. See below the payment dates for INSS benefits:

People earning up to minimum wage

For people who receive up to one minimum wage, the payment date for the month of September begins on the 26th from the final digit of benefit number 1, then on September 27th, the payment is made to the number of benefit ending in 2, and so on until September 30th when the payment is made for the benefit ending in number 5.

From October 3rd, payment is made for the benefit ending in number 6, following the order until October 7th, when payment is made for the benefit ending in number 0.

People earning above minimum wage

FGTS birthday withdrawal

The FGTS birthday withdrawal is a benefit given to workers who perform work activities with a formal contract. This month, benefit payments will be made to people who were born in September. In this way, part of the money that is in linked accounts can be withdrawn, with the possibility of withdrawing an additional amount of up to R$2.9 thousand integrated into the installment.

However, each person withdraws a different amount, as it depends on how much money is accumulated. The withdrawal date begins on the first working day of each worker's birthday month and ends on the last working day of the second month after the birthday. Therefore, workers who were born in the month of September have between the 1st of this month and the 30th of November to withdraw the FGTS.

Taxi Driver Assistance – benefits paid by the government in september

This aid is offered to workers who serve as taxi drivers and have a registration with city halls. The program was created in July of this year and offers participants installments of R$1 thousand every month.

In view of this, the third installment of R$1 thousand since the program entered into force will be available on September 24th. Three more transfers are expected until the last month of this year.

Truck Driver Assistance

The truck driver aid was created to reduce the damage caused by the increase in fuel prices. The self-employed truck driver who transports loads and is registered receives R$ 1,000 per month. On September 24th, the deposit of the next installment is scheduled.

Brazil Aid – benefits paid by the government in september

Auxílio Brasil is a benefit program for low-income families that came to replace Bolsa Família. It operates by transferring income to more than 20 million Brazilian families. Participants receive R$600 per month, and the benefit is expected to last until December of this year.
